Cycle 1 of our launch is complete and we have shifted focus to development and site improvement. What this means for you is that while your profile will still be available for you to view and tweak, there will be no new matches until we launch the full site and offer new features to our community in early 2020.
If you can’t sign into your account, you may not have registered for one yet! (Some people are signed up for our newsletter, but not the site.) You can create a new account by registering here.
It's possible that there are not enough users that fit your matching criteria. While we wait for more people to sign up, here are some things that you can try:
In addition to having the option of matching with 2 people whom the algorithm thinks are the best fits for you, you may be someone else's match and will match with them as well.
This is a feature that is currently in the works. Until that time, if there's someone you don't want to be your match, then please email us. Please understand that we cannot guarantee you a new match but we can unmatch you and make sure that you don't match with them again. You will most likely need to wait for the next round of matching to receive new matches.
Email us, and we can do that for you. You'll still be able to message with your existing matches but will not be matched with anyone new unless you email us to turn it back on. If you're looking for a more permanent solution, you can delete your account (see below for how to do this).
Go to your profile by clicking here. Then, scroll down and at the bottom there is a button to delete your account.
When you delete your account, all of you information, will be permanently deleted. You will not be able to reactivate this account.
Any time you match with someone they can see your public profile. Your public profile includes everything located at the "Your Profile" page. This includes your first name, pronouns, gender, sexual orientation, city, age, relationship status, the type of relationship you are looking for, Jewish observance, whether you keep kosher and shabbat, whether you have kids, a description about yourself, your pictures.
Once we start providing human matchmakers to help find your perfect match, they will be able to view all of the information that you filled out. That is why we will only hire people that we know we can trust to be matchmakers--so that they keep all of your information confidential. Software developers will also have access to all of your information (except for your password). Currently, there is only one software developer, and as we continue to grow we will bring more developers onto the team. All matchmakers and developers will sign confidentiality agreements.
If you'd like a volunteer position with us, there are many ways you can be involved. You can volunteer to become a matchmaker, contribute in coding new features, contribute to the design of the website, or spread the word about the site to everyone you know. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like to get involved!
